* Shopping Centre in the local area

Most residents in Slade Green will feel the need to go wider a field for more than a paper or pint of milk.
Within the surrounding area we have dozens of shopping centres and supermarkets.
It would be impossible to go through them all so I have selected the most likely places to shop if you live in Slade Green:

Bexleyheath:
Bexleyheath is the main shopping centre in the London Borough of Bexley. Bexleyheath has a good selection of shopping and entertainment attractions, from the big name chain stores like WH-Smiths and BHS, to small shops. The main attractions on offer apart from shopping is a cinema, and Superbowl.
It is only about a mile or two from Slade Green and 15 minutes by bus.

Crayford:
Crayford is quite a small town, but is home to a few large stores like Comet and Sainsbury's.
It is only about 1.5 miles away and only a short journey by bus.

Dartford:
Dartford is the most north-westernly town in the county of Kent, and is home to big stores including B&Q, MFI as well as having it own shopping centre with all the normal big names.
Dartford is also home to a professional theatre showing major shows and musicals.
Dartford Park is just on the edge of the shops and Dartford tries every so hard to keep it old style appearance.
Dartford is in easily reachable by train, road, and bus.

Erith:
Erith is the nearest town to Slade Green. Having said that it a very small town.
The main shopping part of the town has gradually got smaller over the years. There is only two banks left (the Woolwich and HSBC) and the only big name store to be found is a small Woolworths. The only good thing about Erith is the new Morrisions supermarket, which is on the edge of the town.
However Erith's attraction, apart from having the only drive through MacDonals in miles, is that most of the shops are local and sell different items from the chain stores, of course they can also offer personal service.

Bluewater is the largest shopping complex in Europe and it's main aim is to rival the west end with all the high fashion names.

Bluewater has hundreds of shops, eating places, cinemas, and many other attractions.

For more information about Bluewater, visit their official web site by Clicking here, or an unofficial web site by clicking here.

Lakeside is a huge shopping centre and one of the biggest in Europe.

Nearly every taste is catered for from virtually every chain store in the country.
Apart from all the shops there is a boating lake, cinema, industrial park, and just thousands of parking spaces.

Lakeside can easily be reached by road via the Dartford tunnel and M25.
